The Joyful Journey

It's been such a gift having Quan.TM as a tool in my life, especially at this time of deployment and reintegration. I am grateful for the peace and insight it always brought. Truly, it is as David O'McKay said, "Meditation is one of the most sacred doors into the presence of the Lord".

To be concise, in a Quan.TM session you learn how to meditate at an advanced level with the techniques and practice. Please scroll through the posts to learn more about Quan.TM and see http://www.gobodhiyoga.com/ for more information.

Ahhhh....

A colleague and I swapped Quan.TM sessions during a Thai Partner Yoga Therapy training lunch hour. It felt so wonderful to again have a facilitated session. I was surprised that it felt just as wonderful to facilitate one for my colleague the following day. I was as renewed as if I had received one. What a great work!
I had the privilege of learning from an acute bodily injury just what Quan.TM was capable of affecting. It was a fantastic study and I am grateful and humbled by the results.
I've loved my meditations and am grateful for their healing effect in my life. I appreciate its adaptability. I can meditate for a couple hours or for a few minutes depending on the time budgets of the day. I am thankful I know it and can facilitate and share it with everyone.

Wholeness after abuse

Facilitating Quan.TM for anyone is a gift. It turned out to be extra gratifying to help a friend who experienced one of the most hideous abuses in childhood. I am humbled to have a tool that offers immense compensation to one who has experienced such and truly any atrocity in life. I am grateful once again for Quan.TM's effective means of releasing things without having to relive them or even talk about them.

 Hallelujah.

Perquisites of Meditation

In all my studies this month of Ayurveda required for my Thai Partner Yoga Therapy Certification, I've come across quite a few stellar studies showing IMMENSE benefits from meditation. The findings are unmatched by any drug, supplement, exercise, or surgery. Were any of the latter to have met the criteria meditation was achieving, the news would be ablaze, shelves would be bare, gyms and operating tables would be full.

Meditation is described in the books so it can be understood, but the learner is always directed to learn meditation from a qualified instructor or ayurvedic doctor. How choice that I know it and get to teach it to clients in Quan.TM! The difference between Quan.TM and normal meditation is the techniques used in Quan.TM ramp the novice meditator up to an advanced meditator status...like they've been practicing meditation for 10 years. It only takes 3-5 sessions and then you are on your way to your own perquisites of meditation.

I've already touched on the incredible benefits Quan.TM has for Post Traumatic Stress, but here are some more of the amazing benefits of meditation:

*Reversal in the aging process-studies found that for every year a person practiced meditation, a year of their biological age was taken off.

*Raises DHEA

*Freedom from Addictions-these studies were done with hard core drugs like heroine and barbituates so think what they can do for things like controlling people, shopping, porn, eating, nicotine and alcohol. AND, they were freed without the "monkey on the back" techniques that most group recovery programs use--meditation is prone or sitting...DOING NOTHING!

Then some of the usual and expected:

*Reduces high blood pressure

*Lowers abnormally high cholesterol levels

*Less Doctor visits-Children (0-18) went to the doctor 46.8% less
Young Adults (19-39) went 54.7% less
Older Adults (40 and over) went 73.7% less

The beauty of meditation is it gives your mind and body a space to rebalance, to remember the correct DNA patterns for each cell, and create the ideal.

The fact that I can do it laying around or sitting...PRICELESS!

Quotes from Quan.TM'ers

It was another wonderful week of getting to facilitate Quan.TM. It is such a privilege! The comments I've been getting have really touched my heart, so thought I'd share.

"I have felt much more peaceful today than usual and CALM!!  I've enjoyed my kids more and the anxiety was absent.  I actually invited the kids' friends to stay longer and I played with them!  Unheard of!  I feel different.  So, it did help!  Thanks for your time.  You are gifted!" ~J

"Amazed at the intense feelings associated with this experience! Rapid Sleep was so relaxing and healing. The release of energy was very real, leaving me feeling somewhat free of those deep feelings." ~S

"I feel amazing and incredibly light...I feel relaxed and energized - Amazing!" ~L

"Amazing to feel so calm for the first time in a long time...Thank you!"~B

"This was really new and amazing to me...I was able to feel a complete release from that specific problem...Amazing!" ~S

"I'm fascinated with this process!...today, I really felt it even more than last session." ~S

Perhaps this is part of the reason I like facilitating Quan.TM so much?
I LOVE IT!

My own Quan.TM session

This weekend I got to do my first third of Thai Partner Yoga Therapy (TPYT) training (there is a blog required for that as well--stay tuned). It was utterly amazing and knowledge I have been eagerly anticipating for months since I had my first TPYT session and was euphoric for weeks if not permanently just more euphoric. So, imagine my surprise when the most incredible experience of the training was the Quan.TM session a colleague gave me on our lunch break.

WOW! The energies I released were labeled from impatience to red and all the release felt great and the truths I received from the meditation were profound and life changing. I am more centered and balanced. I am enjoying the journey. I am happily cooking meals and nurturing my kids rather than rationalizing the triviality or trying to hurry up to get to "my" things--books, learning, volunteer commitments, projects...None of which are destructive, but my attitude was unbalanced. I am at peace and happily engaged in LIVING life rather than trying to get to it.

My colleague graciously did the Quan.TM for free, but I had such an outpouring of gratitude and knew she needed means to purchase some of the course materials that I was honored to be the means of flowing her the opportunity to have her desire met. What a double blessing for me.
There is a great book I'm reading, entitled "Mutant Message Down Under" by Marlo Morgan. In her walkabout with a very enlightened tribe she conveyed the tribal custom of welcome to new babies. It happens to be the same as the farewell when members feel it is their time to shut their bodies down (usually around 120-130). It is this: "We love you. We support you on your journey."

I have adopted that. To each of you I say:

I love you. I support you on your journey.

Namaste~

Sequence of Sessions

It was once again an immense privilege to facilitate Quan.TM for clients this week. It was interesting in particular to see how the second session differed from the first. The first session is a beautiful learning process as Quan.TM is explained and then experienced. The second session is a time to jump right in and really get in touch with yourself and your needs. By the third session, most people have the hang of it and are practicing a bit of Self Quan.TM at home. And by the fifth, it is confidently practiced individually, though I am always available for more appointments if desired.

My aim is to teach this skill to clients so everyone can be doing it on their own whenever needed AND be amazing meditators. That is truly an undervalued skill that has exponential potential, particularly in our rushed pace lifestyles. Imagine knowing what the matter is, what you need, and releasing the charge without trauma or drama of reliving those memories or reexperiencing those emotions. Think how much less addictions would be turned to in order to stuff those things down that we don't want to experience. Ponder on how many relationships would be turned from jailing co-dependent to life giving interdependence. Even the bad day is unwinded gently rather than taken out on the next person in our path. Truly, the potential is life altering in an unbelievably freeing and empowering way.

I continue to be amazed at the results with each session. It is such a priceless skill.
